She quickly returned my phone call, answered all of my questions about the newborn session, and sent me a follow-up e-mail confirming our appointment. “Our experience with Maya D Photography was wonderful! Our son was an unexpected c section so we were not able to make out appointment a head of time but we knew we really wanted to have Maya take his first photos. We called her and she was very easy to work with and we were able to set up a session when he was 7 days old. Maya was so great working with our son , very gentle and patient with him. I told my husband it was like she was a baby whisperer because when he started to wake she was able to put him right back to sleep. Maya D Photography comes equipped with different backgrounds and blankets for different textures. She also has hats and other props for your photo shoot. Our parents were not too keen on the no clothing aspect of the photo shoot but Maya was able to be very discreet an made sure nothing was showing . What a wonderful experience. “My husband and I decided we wanted our daughter’s newborn pictures taken after she was born. We contacted Maya and heard back from her the same day and she was able to give us her available dates which were in the same week our baby was born. We had to reschedule from a Friday to the following Monday and Maya was totally flexible and understanding. When we arrived to her studio, she took over and we didn’t have to do a thing. We were worried it might be difficult because our baby had been fussy prior to arriving, but Maya was able to calm her to sleep and capture the most adorable pictures. We came back to the studio a few weeks later to view and purchase pictures and Maya had set up a wonderful presentation and slideshow.
